Logline: In 1950’s Egypt, a young writer finds that his uncles magic elixir does more than cure writer’s block when it starts to bring his character to life.

Synopsis: In 1950’s Egypt, a young writer, Kamal, finds that his uncle's magic elixir does more than cure writer's block when it starts to bring his characters to life. However, after being released from that job, Kamal forsakes his writing dreams, and accepts work at the struggling, yet colorful Zamalek Hotel. After consuming a magical elixir gifted to him by his uncle, Kamal awakens to find that the characters from his stories have come to life.

He has no choice but to hide his characters in the hotel and matters quickly plunge into chaos. When he unexpectedly falls in love with one of his characters, he begins to realize the true power of the potion. Things get out of hand when he decides to abandon composing his novel and use his talents to bring additional characters to life, to keep the hotel thriving..
