Logline: A talk-first environmentalist joins a fossil fuel giant, suspects his girlfriend's involvement in a global warming cover-up, and unites quirky coworkers to avert imminent ecological devastation.
Synopsis: Environmental crusader Max Bricker, a passionate attorney with a penchant for taking on corporate polluters, constantly struggles with both his career and relationships. To make ends meet, he takes a temporary position at a merging fossil fuel conglomerate and a questionable wind farm operation. Amidst the monotony of document reviews, quirky colleagues, and the affable yet enigmatic British office manager, Cyrus, Max discovers an unexpected connection with Kim Dearing, a sharp and enigmatic fellow environmentalist.
As their romance blooms, Max's world shatters when he stumbles upon Kim's incriminating corporate memos, revealing a plot to conceal an impending environmental catastrophe that will facilitate an illicit merger. Determined to expose the truth, Max rallies his newfound colleagues and unveils an unexpected respect for their abilities. However, his plan backfires when he unwittingly exposes Kim's double life as an undercover FBI agent. Now fugitives, Max and Kim must unite their office allies in a daring scheme to outwit Cyrus, halt the merger, and unveil the sinister cover-up to the world.
