Logline: A hard-boiled detective, living in a post-apocalyptic/zombie-infested world, is hired by an enigmatic woman to find her missing zombie brother–only to discover in the process a morally ambiguous cure for the entire zombie epidemic.
Synopsis: Detective Griffin Blue is hired by Christina Hart to look into the disappearance of her zombie brother, Leo, who prowls the surrounding countryside. Griffin enlists the help of his friend, Doc Cross, to gain access to the video surveillance of this area.
They discover that Leo is consuming exiled prisoners from the city and as a result, is transforming back into a human. Griffin and Cross attempt to rescue Leo but this is aborted when they are attacked by a rogue group of zombies in a similar process of transformation.
Griffin informs Christina that her brother will soon be eaten by the zombies and in anguish, she tries sacrificing herself to them instead. Griffin prevents this but is bitten in the process and turns into a zombie.
Cross conducts an experiment on Griffin which involves using the exiled prisoners as fresh meat for him, in an attempt to transform him back into a man. Cross is able to bring Griffin back but it is a fluid situation as Griffin now oscillates between human and zombie.
